DESIGNATION OF CHAIRS

Unless otherwise indicated (e.g. sessions organised with partner associations), the chair of a parallel session is the final speaker scheduled for the session.

Feel free to adjust the order of presentations if the final speaker has time constraints.

PREPARING YOUR TALK

  • Each conference room and amphitheatre is equipped with a standard audiovisual setup, allowing you to accompany your presentation with slides if desired.
  • To avoid compatibility issues, please prepare your presentation in PDF format.
  • Arrive at your session meeting room at least 5 minutes before the session begins to upload your PDF and familiarize yourself with the setup at the lectern.
  • All presentations are in English.

TIMING

The chair manages the time:

  • Each parallel session lasts 90 minutes. If the session includes 3 papers, we recommend allotting 30 minutes per paper (presentation and discussion). If there are 2 papers, you may exceed the 30-minute guideline.
  • Speakers might receive specific instructions from their session chair regarding the scheduling of presentations.

A student is assigned to each floor of conference rooms and each amphitheatre to ensure everything runs smoothly. They will assist with any technical issues you may encounter.
